I know I have asked myself many times, how did I get here? Over a life time of decisions, influence from the world and society as a whole , as well as my experiences. In 2013 I had the opportunity to purchase my childhood home and set my roots in Segiun Township. My family and I decided to stock our pond and then decided to keep chickens. From there we have had many adventures in learning how to get closer to the land and to minimize our footprint . I got my trapping license at the same time I got my hunting license at 16. It seemed over the years that getting out and trapping was going to have to take a back burner to raising a family. Now that our children have grown a bit, there is time for me to do what I enjoy most.
